The Sun from the East
The Sun From The East is an event image design created for a design university. The sun is used as the main visual element, because the sun rises in the east and reflects both the name of the school and its steady yearly growth. Circles and other geometric figures form the basic elements, and the composition was changed through long testing. The design is applied to posters, books and invitation cards. Bright film and fog film were applied to selected areas during printing to highlight the graphics. The posters measure 70 by 100 centimeters.
The Sun from the East Event Image Design by TANG-HSUAN LIEN was highlighted as an innovative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. The Sun from the East Event Image Design received the Iron A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2021. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which recognizes excellent design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
