Agraz Restaurant

Agraz Restaurant’s brand is inspired by Brazil’s twenty-seven states. The round symbol was inspired by the center of the Brazilian flag. The colors represent the miscegenation, diversity and the meeting of cultural globalization at the hotel. The density of the population within each Brazilian state inspired the dimensions of the stripes. The project included: menu designs, placemats and an institutional campaign. The menus enable a sensorial experience by means of the texture of the material and logo application in resin, which gives it a 3D effect. Black menus are for men and white for women

calendar 2013 “Town”

The Town is a paper craft kit with parts that can be freely assembled into a calendar. Put together buildings in different forms and enjoy creating your very own little town. Life with Design: Quality designs have the power to modify space and transform the minds of its users. They offer comfort of seeing, holding and using. They are imbued with lightness and an element of surprise, enriching space. Our original products are designed using the concept of “Life with Design”.

Boranda

Borandá is an initiative to encourage society to visit Atlantic Rainforest conservation units. Its name come from the Portuguese words Bora (informal for Let's) and andar (walk). Movement's visual identity combines colourful and organic shapes of nature with a modern-urban scenario, which is the context of the main audience – those who are not used to visit the units. Visual identity creates a path of trails and the line camouflages itself in illustrations in a playful message: to visit the Atlantic Rain Forest is to preserve it.

Parallel

Parallel Universe… Is it really that hard to imagine? Another “Earth”? Throughout history, mankind has proven to be more self-destructive than constructive. This project is to illustrate the idea that somewhere there is a parallel universe, another human-like civilization, living in harmony with nature, and not using technology for personal gain. The visual objective was to mimic characteristics of renaissance paintings while illustrating a civilization from another world.

Typographic Posters

Typographic posters is a collection of posters made during 2013 and 2015. This project involves the experimental use of typography through the use of lines, patterns and isometric perspective that generate a unique perceptual experience. Each of this posters represent a challenge to communicate with the only use of type. 1. Poster to celebrate 40th Anniversary of Felix Beltran. 2. Poster to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Gestalt Institute. 3. Poster to protest over missing 43 students in Mexico. 4. Poster for design conference Passion & Design V. 5. 40 Kreattiv Covers

The scope of the project was to inject a cultural related theme into the designs. Andrew Carter, the designer, produced a look of action to express contemporary art through the motion of the logo. The different arrangements of the logo creates a sense of motion that cause the eye to move over the work. What inspired the artist was a reading about a technique which captures movement in several frames. Andrew also took inconsideration that the rate of new typefaces being produced nowadays is simply staggering, so a detailed research had to be done.
